Fake-Out Dip




4-5 basil leaves
4 sun dried tomatoes
18 oz semi soft garlic cream cheese
½ c sun dried tomato tapenade
½ c pesto

Line a medium-small glass bowl with plastic wrap. Arrange 4-5 fresh basil leaves on the bottom on the bowl to form a pretty pattern. Then take 4 pieces of sun dried tomatoes and arrange them between the basil leaves. Take a small tub (9oz) of store bought semi-soft garlic cream cheese (or make your own) and spread that as the next layer. For the next layer spread ½ c sun dried tomato tapenade (see recipe on this blog) over the cheese. Next spread ½ c pesto over the tapenade. Finally take another 9oz over semi soft garlic cream cheese and spread that as the bottom layer. You can wrap it up and refrigerator it or keep in the freezer until needed or plate it right away. To plate it right away take the plate you want to serve it on and turn it upside down over the mixture. Flip bowl and plate at same time and remove bowl and plastic wrap. Serve with veggies, wheat thins, etc.
