Homemade Kahlua


4 c sugar
2 oz instant coffee
2 c water
1 vanilla bean cut up
5th of brandy

In dark one gallon jar or jug combine sugar, coffee and boiling water. Add bean and brandy. Let stand 1 month. After a month pour the kahlua off carefully leaving residue in bottom and throw away.
