Pasta Pronto

8oz angel hair pasta
2 oz butter
1 c chopped onion
2 tsp crushed garlic
1 T flour
1 (12oz) can milnot
1 (14.5oz) can diced tomato (italian style)
1 c frozen peas
1 (3oz) jar real bacon bits
½ c fresh parmesan cheese
1/8 tsp crushed red pepper
Shrimp (opt)
Boil pasta in salted water for 5 minutes and drain. While pasta is cooking heat butter in a large sauté pan. Cook onion and garlic for 5 minutes. Stir in flour and blend in milnot. Bring to a boil, stir constantly. Add peas, tomato and bacon. Stir in drained pasta. Sprinkle with cheese and season with pepper. Toss and serve. Makes 4-6 servings.
