Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream


5 eggs
3 c sugar
3 T vanilla
¼ tsp salt
1 small instant vanilla pudding
4 c whipping cream
Whole Milk


In large mixing bowl, beat eggs until foamy. Gradually add sugar; beat until thickened. Add cream, vanilla and salt and pudding . 
Mix thoroughly. 
Pour into ice cream maker cylinder. I like to put the cylinder in the freezer before using it. 
Add WHOLE MILK to the fill line.


Layer of ice then layer of salt, repeat.
You can make it ahead of time and put in freezer. Makes 4 quarts.
