
Sourdough bread starter
½ c beer (not light)
1 rounded tsp yeast
3 T dry instant mashed potatoes
1 c warm water
¾ c sugar

Mix all ingredients and set on counter top all day without a sealed liq. Refrigerate and feed in 2-3 days.
Sourdough feeder
3 T mashed potato flakes
¾ C sugar
1 C hot water
Add to started and let sit out all day uncovered. Then return to fridge. Do this once a week.
Sourdough bread
1 ¼ c starter
¼ sugar
½ c corn oil
1 T salt
1 ½ c hot water
6 c bread flour
Mix all together and knead for 5 minutes. Place in greased bowl and roll around to cover all sides. Cover with saran wrap and let rise 8-12 house or double in size. Punch dough down and divide into 2-3 amounts on floured surfaces and place in greased bread pans. Cover with saran wrap and let rise another 8-12 hours or double in size. Bake on bottom rack of oven for 30-35 minutes at 350.
