Taco Casserole

1 lb ground beef
1 small onion chopped
1 c (8oz) Ortega thick and smooth taco sauce
¾ c water
1 can (4oz) Ortega diced green chilles
1 pkg (1.25 oz) taco seasoning mix
1 pkg (12) white or ywllow taco shells broken and dived
2 c (8oz) shredded milked cheddar cheese, divided.

Preheat oven to 375 and grease 11x7 baking dish. Cook beef and onions until beef is brown and grain. Stir in taco sauce, water, chiles and seasoning mix. Cook over low heat for 3-4 minutes. Layer half of broken shells on bottom of baking dish. Cover with half or meat mixture, sprinkle with 1 c cheese. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Bake 20-25 minutes.
