Chocolate Mint Cake

1 c sugar
½ c butter
1 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
16 oz chocolate syrup
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp baking powder
1 c flour

Beat first four ingredients until fluffy. Add chocolate syrup. Mix dry ingredients together and add to sugar mixture. Bake in greased in 9x13 pan for 20-25 minutes. Cool completely.

Filling
2 c powdered sugar
½ c butter
2 T milk
1 tsp mint extract
Green food coloring

Beat filling until smooth. Spread over cooled cake. Refrigerate until firm.

Topping
1 c chocolate chips
6 T butter

Melt together and spread over cake. Refrigerate. Set or of refrigerate about 20 minutes before cutting.
