Peanut Brittle

2 c sugar

½ c water

1 c white syrup

2 c raw peanuts

3 tsp soda

1 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

2 T butter

Boil water, syrup then add peanuts until syrup is amber. Remove from heat and add the rest. Pour onto a cookie sheet. When hard, break into chucks.
