Salmon in Clam Sauce

2 Tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic ( I use from jar) crushed
1/4 brown sugar
3 green onions , sliced
1/4 clam sauce (oyster sauce is what it called for but it was very rich and salty)
2 salmon fillets
1/4 cup water
sliced mushrooms (opt)
Heat oil over medium heated skillet. Stir in garlic and brown sugar, cooked until garlic is lightly browned. Stir in green onions and cook till tender. Mix in clam sauce and water.

Place salmon fillets into skillet. Reduce heat to low. Spoon sauce over fillets as you cook
Cook 10-12 minutes. until fork tender.
Pour sauce over salmon when serving.

I serve LoMein noodles with this dish.

We liked this dish using Clam sauce better than Oyster sauce.
