1 stick butter
1 1/4 C sugar
1 C self rising flour
1 C milk
2 C berries
Preparation:
Melt butter in microwave. Pour 1 C sugar and 1 C flour into mixing bowl whisking in milk.
Mix well. Then pour melted butter in and whisk it altogether
Butter a baking dish. I use my cast iron .
Rinse and pat dry the berries
Pour the batter into the buttered dish.
Sprinkle berries over top evenly.
Sprinkle 1/4 C over top.
Bake at 350 for 1 hour until golden and bubbly.
When done, add additional sugar if desire.
